JAMES HILL HAS PERFECT NIGHT IN MOD LITES

James Hill had no problems in the 15-lap Mod Lite feature as he led flag to flag for his fourth win of the season. The zero inversion draw put heat winners Hill and Nick Nash one and two on the starting grid. It took three attempts to get the first lap in the record books.

Hill was able to pull away at the drop of the green By the time that Ty Short worked his way into second Hill had built more than a seven second advantage. That was erased by the third and final yellow when Nash got around in the second turn with six to go. Hill continued to set the pace on the green as Jimmy Wills climbed into second with four laps remaining. Wills was able to close on Hill but it was too little too late as Hill took the checkered. With the win Hill clenched the TUSA Mid-Atlantic Division championship. Wills came from eighth to finish in second with Short, Mike Stratton and Brandon Sturgis rounding out the top five.

Mod Lite Finish: 1. James Hill; 2. Jimmy Wills; 3. Ty Short; 4. Mike Stratton; 5. Brandon Sturgis; 6 Curt Miles Jr; 7. Tim White; 8. Ray Gulliver; 9. Landis Musser; 10. Alan Passwaters; 11. Jake Nelson; 12. Brandon Keim; 13. Kirk Miles Sr; 14. Nick Nash; 15. Ryan Dryden; 16. Aaron VanVorst; 17. Josh Clark; 18. Jason Musser; 19. Harry Mears. James 4
