CHAD CLARK PASSES TECH - EARNS 3RD FALL CHAMPIONSHIP

Chad Clark would lead wire-to-wire for his third career Fall Championship win in the 25-lap AC Delco PSC championship. 2014 point champ, Greg Humlhanz worked by Kevin Sockriter and Scott Hitchens to take second and Jordn Justice followed into third. The yellow as out on lap five when Sockriter got over the front wheel of Westley Smith after the pair had traded paint down the front straight and flipped. Sockriter was shaken but walked to the ambulance under his own power.

Humlhanz’s best opportunity to take the lead came in traffic on lap 16 but just as he was trying to set up a pass the yellow flew as Carson Wright got around. Matt Smith would roll to a stop with five to go giving Humlhanz one more shot but Clark was able to drive away on the final laps to take the win. Humlhanz would settle for second with Justice third. Fourth went to Smith and Joseph Tracy rounded out the top five. Heats were won by Clark and Hitchens. With the gambler’s bonus Clark earned $1750 for the win, $320 in lap leader money and the $25 bonus for support breast cancer awareness from Carolyn Parsons for a $2095 payday. Both the first place car of Clark and the second place car of Humlhanz passed tech on Monday.
