DWAYNE HECK LEADS WIRE TO WIRE IN VINTAGE STOCK CARS
Dwayne Heck used his outside starting spot to grab the lead on lap one as he pulled past pole sitter, Mark Williams. The one and only caution was out on the first lap when Mike Patchett came to a stop. Heck’s car was working perfectly and he was able to pull away from Williams to take the win. Bobby Watkins in the Scott Calhoun Falcon finished in third. Snookie Vent, Jr. finished first Sportsman in sixth. Heck earned $120 in lap leader money from All About the Dogs and $50 from Carolyn Parsons for promoting breast cancer awareness. Vent received a $20 bonus from the Southern Delaware Vintage Racing Club for being first Sportsman.
