JAMES HILL RACKS UP $1540 WINNING MOD LITE CHAMPIONSHIP

In the 20-lap Mod Lite Championship James Hill wasted no time as he pulled away from the field from his pole starting spot. Tim White was able to keep Hill in his sites but from a distant second. Jimmy Wills came from sixth dropping Calvin Musser to fourth on lap four. “Nitro� Nick Sapp was able to get by Musser just before halfway and the order would remain unchanged for the second half of the all green race. Hill had a big payday collecting $1250 for his win plus $240 in lap leader money and $50 from Carolyn Parsons for supporting breast cancer awareness for a total of $1540. White finished in second with Wills, Sapp and Musser rounding out the top five.
