Delaware State Dirt Track Championships this weekend Rules & Purse for Big Block Modified Teams
Below is our purse payout and rules for this weekends 50 Lap NAPA Big Block Modified Feature Event. We will start 24 cars in the main feature. Heat races will be 8 laps, starting positions for heats will be determined by the pill draw. If a consolation race is needed, it will be 8 laps as well. Feature transfer positions will be determined by number of entries & heat races and will be announced at the drivers meeting.
Rules:
Cubic Inch & Weights
Delaware Big-Block (more than 477 cubic inches): 2,600 lbs.
Big-Block (max 477 cubic inches): 2,500 lbs.
Small-Block (max. 363 cubic inches): 2,400 lbs.
Car & Driver after the race. Top 5 MUST go directly to scales off turn 4
All Aluminum Small Blocks are prohibited
Tires
Right-Rear: American Racer 48 or harder
Left-Rear: American Racer 44 or harder
Fronts: American Racer 33 or harder
*Standard chain-link Modified tires only; no block-tread tires; no 49 compound American Racers
