All Systems Go! For tonight's 46th Camp Barnes Benefit Race
Camp Barnes officials made the decision this morning to go full steam ahead with tonight's event.
We just received word from Camp Barnes organizer's....
THE RACE IS ON!
Tonight's 46th Annual Camp Barnes Benefit Race is a go for tonight here at the Delaware International Speedway. Organizer's has spoken with several weather outlets and the decision was made.
Tonights race will payout over $35,000 in purses to 7 divisions. Come watch your favorite drivers in the Hurlock Auto & Speed Big Block Modifieds, S.R. Pete and Sons Super Late Models, RUSH Late Models, 602 Sportsman Modifieds, Mod Lights, Little Lincoln Stock Cars and Super Trucks!
At intermission, the Delaware State Police and Camp Barnes Board members will honor Hal Browning. Hal raced in the first state for over four decades. He will be honored in a special presentation for his dedication to the sport.
Gates open 4pm, Drivers meeting 6:15 and track Run In 6:30pm.
Admission is $20 on the spectator side and $35 for the pit admission. Children under 10 free on Spec. Side.
