MATT HILL'S WIN TOTAL CLIMBS TO NINE IN CRATE MODELS

Matt Hill got the pole draw and took off like he was shot out of a cannon in the Crate Model 20-lapper. Charles Shawver worked his way past Billy Thompson for second and Sparky White climbed from eighth to third by the end of the first segment. The second segment saw Tyler Reed work his way up from seventh into third with Shawver holding fourth and Mike Wilson running fifth at halfway.

Hill, Whte, and Reed would hold the top three transfer spots and the end of the third segment. Hill had started to struggle in the high groove but moved to the bottom which leveled the car out. Hill would try the top groove one final time on the restart but almost lost the handle and returned to the bottom for the final four circuits for his ninth win of the year. White finished in the second spot with Reed third.

Crate Model Finish: 1. Matt Hill; 2. Sparky White; 3. Tyler Reed; 4. Robbie Walls Jr; 5. Charles Shawver; 6. Mike Wilson; 7. Billy Thompson; 8. Jason Dean; 9. Steven Baker; 10. Brandon Sturgis; DNS: Travis Justice.DSC00979
